Lenten Lunches Begin Feb 15!
Easter is fast approaching and that means Lenten Lunches are back!
These popular events run every Thursday throughout Lent, taking place from 12pm - 1pm in the church hall. Regulars know to expect great conversation, interesting presentations, good food, and a lot of laughs.
Last year’s Lenten Lunches featured a diverse line-up of local speakers with strong representation from Lakefield’s churches and local organisations. We’re pleased to have many of our speakers return this year and can’t wait to hear what they’ve been up to! Our speaker line-up for 2024 is as follows:
Feb 15th - Pastor Peter Moore of Lakefield Baptist Church
Feb 22nd - Rev. Frank Tyrrell, Prison Chaplain at Lindsay Jail
Feb 29th - Father Raymond Rick of St Paul The Apostle
Mar 7th - Pastor Ben Peltz of Curve Lake Christian Assembly
Mar 14th - Rev. Dr. Kerrie Perry of Lakefield United Church
Mar 21st - Rev. Ann Blane of St Andrews Presbyterian Church
Our Lenten Lunches do get crowded, so make sure you reserve your seat well ahead of time. Each session costs $7, contact Kay Nickel at 705-651-2175 to book your spot.
