Catch Up With Christ Church at the Upcoming AGM

Christ Church Community Museum’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 7 p.m. at Christ Church.  This is an opportunity to hear about the accomplishments of CCCM over the last year and hear about its future plans for this summer’s exhibits and ongoing property maintenance.

Our guest speaker is Pam Hart, a representative of the Kawartha Truth and Reconciliation Support Group and she will talk about a very special quilt that commemorates the legacy of residential schools in Canada.

Most importantly, the AGM gives the committee the opportunity to thank our over 30 volunteers who are instrumental in the running of the museum and very generous with their time and gifts.  Refreshments will be served and volunteers are encouraged to sign up for summer guiding that evening.  CCCM will be open daily, Monday, July 1st to Monday, September 2nd from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Please plan to join us and bring friends and family who may be interested in learning more about CCCM, volunteering as a guide or joining our committee, and listening to Pam’s extraordinary quilt talk.

I hope to see you on the 23rd!
