The Fenian raids were conducted by some members of an Irish sect who had immigrated to the United States.

From 1867 to 1871, they raided the British army forts, custom posts and other targets in Canada. This was to bring pressure on the United Kingdom to withdraw from Ireland. The Fenians were defeated and a volunteer brigade from Lakefield participated. The display has 1 authentic jacket as well as 2 excellent replicas plus a medal and more information.
